Brie & Daniel | Brie Greer. Arizona Wedding

Being a wedding photographer is a dream come true- but when I get to photograph couples like Brie & Daniel, it is more than I ever dreamed of. They literally had the dreamiest wedding, and we got the most beautiful shots of the two of them together on their unforgettable day.

Brie and Daniel stole my heart when they told me they would house me for an entire weekend, plus. As an adventure photographers that travels all over the country for sessions, housing is always one of the biggest difficulties to find. Not only did they house me, but they also flew me to Arizona to photograph their gorgeous mountain wedding- talk about two sweet people!

This duo is a power couple- starting with Daniel and his super rad motorcycle. When I say he is friggin obsessed with his bike, I mean it!! His license plate of his motorcycle say FLIPN, which is natural for him as he did a backflip right after their first kiss. After his backflip, Brie even did an assisted backflip at their reception.

These two were flippin excited to be together, that’s for sure!

Both of them were gymnasts, as well as Brie’s entire family-so these two were destined to be together.

Their super bubbly personalities overflowed into every single photo they took, making my job more than easy. The photos I captured of these two were absolutely stunning, and captured so much of their personalities.

The three of us wandered all over the mountain top in Brie Greer, Arizona to find the most beautiful views. The mountain surely didn’t disappoint, if I do say so myself.

We did a day after session in one of the mountain canyons, and these were some of my favorite photos I have ever taken. Every single thing about this couple, their wedding, and their photos was absolutely freaking amazing.

There couldn’t have been a more dreamy wedding or couple.

Thank you two for being so phenomenal and accommodating to me as I captured the most special day of your life.

Katie & Troy | Chattanooga, TN Engagement

When I met Katie and Troy, I knew they would be a special couple. You know exactly what i’m talking about- when you meet someone and you have this gut feeling that they are going to be a really cool person. Well, that’s exactly what it was like when I met Katie and Troy.

Boy oh boy was I totally right about these two. Katie and Troy are boulderers- which means they are basically rock climbers that free climb. Yes- they climb with their hands and feet with absolutely no safety gear. Talk about scary, exhilarating and adventurous.

When they told me this, I was in absolute awe and couldn’t believe that I was about to photograph these two incredible humans.

As if this wasn’t enough adventure, our photoshoot was one heck of an adventure. We wandered around in the rain around Chattanooga, pouring down on us to get the most beautiful shots. If you look closely, you may even see a few rain droplets here and there.

As we wondered, Troy showed us a private path, that pretty much only he knew about, and we got some amazing shots under the boulder. It was absolutely breathtaking!

Their wedding is going to be happening right here in Chattanooga in April 2019.

These two are the most adventurous souls I have ever met, and I am truly so thankful that I got to capture them in front of my lens.

Thank you two for taking me along on an adventure, being willing to stand in the rain, and showing me a super secret path for amazing photos.

Kaitlyn & Blake | Portland Head Lighthouse Engagement

Kaitlyn and Blake were a couple that I absolutely adored having in front of my lens. We adventured up to Portland Head Lighthouse in Portland, Maine for their engagement session, and it was beyond magical!!

Portland Head lighthouse is a special place for me, as it was somewhere I spent a good bit of time as a child. For some reason standing under that lighthouse and capturing these two and the love they share, made the place more magical than I remembered it being.

Both Kaitlyn and Blake are engineers who met during college in New York, which I think is just the most adorable love story in the whole wide world.

When they said they wanted to do their session at Portland Head Lighthouse, I knew it was such a great location, and I thought it was ironic as I mentioned before, I went there a alot as a child. Now the really ironic part, is that Kaitlyn and Blake are getting married at a lake I grew up going to- talk about fate, me being their photographer!

They are getting married at the gorgeous Sebago lake in fall of 2019.

When we got to the lighthouse we were determined to get some beautiful golden hour shots right before the sun set. The lighting was absolutely perfect as the sun was setting, and you can see the gorgeous glow in their photos.

Not only did we get some epic shots, but we even jumped the fence in order to get some amazing rock shots- shhh, don’t tell anyone! It was quite an adventure, included a few good laughs, and caught the most gorgeous photos.

This session was one for the books, and I absolutely cannot wait to see how stunning their wedding is at Sebago Lake next fall!

Thank you Kaitlyn and Blake for being so willing to adventure (and jump fences) with me for the most beautiful photos ever. Portland Head Lighthouse has never looked so beautiful with you two in front of it.
